"We're not going in," I told her. "But I wanted to point out this adorable little building that is actually the Peruvian Consulate." 
 
"Cool," she replied. "Where exactly is Peruvia anyway?" 
 
What struck me as odd was her tone. This was the same sing-song voice that had complained only weeks earlier about never coming with me to the city. 
 
My goal now is clear. 
 
"Dad?" she'll ask one day. "Can we go to Peruvia next time?" 
 
"Yes my dear," I will reply. "We can go to Peruvia next time."
